Remember to only use 2 contrasting colours in an outfit.

Oh yes. Many bright colours in one outfit, and its not as easy as it looks. 

Take a look at the colour wheel. To colour block successfully, you only want to have two opposite colours in an outfit, and keep the rest nude. Lets say we want a dark blue top. On the colour wheel, look what is opposite the dark blue; a pale orange. A dark blue top would look great with a pale orange skirt! Try matching colours yourself!
